Neil Patrick Harris is mourning the demise of his TV dad James B. Sikking.

The 51-year-old actor and James starred collectively on the ABC medical sitcom Doogie Howswer, M.D., which ran from 1989 to 1993.

On Sunday (July 14), James died on the age of 90. His publicist confirmed to Individuals that James died “peacefully at his Los Angeles residence surrounded by household.” The reason for demise was dementia.

Following James‘ demise, Neil took to Instagram to honor his late co-star.
